Top N Issue

Hi,
I am trying to do Top 3 report in cr10 and the formula I have to based the results on is not in the dropdown list of available formulas.
I guess this formula cant be used for top N.
Here is the formula maybe somebody can give me an advise what to do here.
Formula Department Total:
Sum ({@Emotional Component1}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component2}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component3}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component4}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component5}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component6}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component7}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component8}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+
Sum ({@Emotional Component9}, {event_details_19.Department_Involved_text})+

Thia formula adds up 12 summaries together for each department.

Create a formula:

{@Emotional Component1}+
{@Emotional Component2}+
{@Emotional Component3}+
{@Emotional Component4}+
{@Emotional Component5}+
{@Emotional Component6}+
{@Emotional Component7}+
{@Emotional Component8}+
{@Emotional Component9}+
{@Emotional Component10}+
{@Emotional Component11}+
{@Emotional Component12}

Place this in the detail section and insert a sum on it at the group level. As long as you can insert a sum on it, topN will be available. If you can't, it will be because of the content of these formulas, so if this is the case, please share the contents of at least one.
