Hello basically really simple question but I'm new to access normally a .net and vb6 developer. Question is how do you stop when the auto exec is run and the main menu form is loaded how can i stop the user from going firstly into form design mode and secondily use the main systems toolbar???? Thanks in advance

To stop AutoExec running, search Access VBA help for AllowBypassKey - it includes a full explanation and demo code.

As for allowing access to built-in tool- and menu-bars, take a look at the Tools, Start-up menu.

I show how to turn off all menus and disable right mouse here:
Of course, I am attempting to enable right mouse for copy/paste only... htwh,
