Too Many Linked fields per link

I have an error message when I try and link 2 tables together. It seems that I am only allowed 10 links between the 2 tables.
I have searched for answers (and even changed the database driver from ODBC to Native), but this problem seems to exist whatever I do.
Is this a limitation of CRW? or can I get around it somehow?

It usually is not necessary to link all of the matching fields. I would only match the fields that are necessary to your report.

Perhaps you should turn off Smart Linking, which will create links between tables based on field name matches.

Delete all the current links, then just link on the key fields.

Hi!
due to the database structure, I need to link 17 fields in order to get a unique record. I have turned off smart linking and am trying to link these tables manually. I need to link them in order to get an Opening balance.
The only other way that I can think of, is to write a UFL to get this data...
Any other ideas will be gratefully received!

I think that 10 links is a hard number in Crystal, regardless of the database driver. At least that's what the documentation says.

You'll probably have to use a different data source for your report such as a stored procedure or view.
