(Cross posted in Report forum, sorry, just now realized its a query issue, I think)

I was asked to fix up a report that stopped working. Well I fired it up and instanty get a error box saying

"Too many crosstab column headers (269)"
I hit ok and then get the same message but with (290) in parens.

Where should be I begin looking to fix this error? Like I said, i'm unfamiliar with the function of this report or what it does, I was just assigned to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You start by pasting the SQL view of your crosstab in a posting to the group. It looks like your crosstab is attempting to create too many column heading values. There can be no more than 255 columns generated in any query.
