Dear all,

We have a situation where a client has an ISDN modem that is meant to call the ISP only 'on demand'. Unfortunately, the ISDN modem is dialling out regularly every 15 minutes and costing them a fortune!

I remember this being a really common query, but I cant remember the cure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Pete H.

PS - They're on ISDN because ADSL is not available in their area!

This could be being caused by windows netbios/dns lookups checking the network for other computers.
If you can set a firewall profile to filter out these requests
