Toast 5.1.2 and Iomega cd burner

I'd like to make toast 5.1.2 work with my iomega cd burner.
I'm using an iMac with os 9.2.2.
The Iomega driver is not recognized when I boot toast. When I go to Apple system profile the drive is easily seen there. I believe this to be an extension problem and I'm not sure what extension I need or if I need to turn an extension off.
Any tips?
