Toad/DB link question 1

Hi there,

I came across something very interesting (well, for me anyway...) in Toad (I am also a new toad user I might add).

It seems that if you have DBA permissions that when you dispaly the database links it shows you the password of the user used in the database link.

Now, I now that when you have DBA permissions that you can do anything on the database anyway, but it would be nice to know where you can get this password used in the db link using sqlplus..

You can spool the sql used for all of Toads functionality to either to a toad child window or to file.

Tools > Spool SQL > Spool to Screen | Spool to File
