Hi there,

I want to put my reports on intranet so everyone can check them. But the other people dont have Crystal Reports. Is there a viewer I can use? Please tell me.

Greetz,

If you purchase Crystal Reports Professional, you can build a web site that offers up your reports. The Active-X or Java Viewer is downloaded to the user's PC the first time the user requests a Crystal report. Brian J. Alves

Thank you for the tip Balves.

I bought Crystal Reports 8.5 Professional. Can you tell me how it works?

Thank you :)

Can someone help me? I now have CR 8.5 Professional.
I have a report, when I attach the report with a email and send it to a collegue (he doesnt have CR) how can he check the report?

Export the report to RTF, PDF, Excel, etc., then mail that file to the user. Brian J. Alves

Thank you Brian,

I use that export function for a while, but I have a report with a drill down function I dont know how I can export a drill down report so somebody else can read it.

I hope someone can help me again.

An easy way to do this is to use the Web Component Server.

Install Crystal Reports on a server which has the database which you are working on configured on it. The web component server is automatically installed with Crystal Reports. Then save a copy of the reports to the server

You then need to create a web page with links to the reports
eg.
servername/path/reportname.rpt

Do I need a Internet Informations Server for this?
I dont have one. Is there otherwise an other way?
Maybe a program to read a Crystal Report?

I hope you can help me....
