To trunk or not to trunk...

that is the....well you know.

Anyway.

I've seen two threads (1 Cisco, 1 Nortel) recently where people are trunking individual switchports for voice and network connectivity. I'm curious at to why you are doing it this way.

I think it is, since the two threads I saw were in here and people were having issues with registering phones when moving between VLANS. I'm just curious as to whether people are trunking individual LAN ports or not and why.
