TN760 or TN464 What is the difference between the two circuit packs?

Attitude is everthing.

The TN760 can support up to (4) analog tie trunks. The TN464 is used for digital service and can support either a T-1 or E-1 interface. The TN464 can be used with either traditional DS-1 service or ISDN-PRI.

When you say 4 analog trunks do you mean 4 single channels? Or 4 separate trunk groups with multiple members?

What does it mean when the circuit card has an E, or D or F at the end of the number?

(4) single channels (ANALOG). The letter (suffix) at the end of the circuit pack number indicates the revision of the board. Some applications require a specific suffix board. For example, in order to use the 120A Integrated CSU with the TN464 the pack must be a TN464F.
