Hi,

I have a TN556 BRI card with 12 ports, as I understand it these ports are 64k (1 channel) each. The rightfax server can set the ports to be either 64k or 128k. Is there any way I can change the ports on the BRI card to run at ISDN2 128k to allow extra traffic through each port?

Cant find any documentation from Avaya on it that specifically relates to the ports!

Why would you want to set each port to 128K. These are faxes, you would want them setup as 64K thus allowing for two calls on the same BRI port. Assign 2 numbers one to each port.

Hi,

Their rightfax server has ports that can run at either 64k or 128k, hence they can run 2 lines per port. At the moment, it looks like the BRI card is configured for 64k channels, so therefore the rightfax cards could in theory double their capacity if we can switch the BRI ports to 128k. Config of the BRI card is as below:

Can I change anything in this to be able to run each port at 128k? Alternatively, the customer wants to know if we can re-terminate the amphenol to make each port combine 2 ports from the BRI TN 556 to 'make' them 128k ports......?!
