TN Capacity

If a system has a total number of 32760 TN's can they be used for Analog phones, Digital Phones, or B -channels etc depending on the type of cards you have . Or is there only a certain amount available for each type?

Kinda depends on the release. Print your SLT in LD 22, that will give you more info like Traditional Telephones, IP sets and trunks

Here is a printout of the SLT. Another question I have is what are the values in the SLT really telling me? For example it shows 296 Analog phones with 249 used and 47 left. However when I do a station count in LD 81 (listed below) it shows that there are 960 analog phone built 7 (500) and 953 (2500). So what does the 296 Analog phones in the SLT mean.

The SLT's is what you are licensed for. I have no idea why it says you have so many 2500 sets built because the SLT Limit should not allow it.

You actually have 1064 analog type licenses. 768 are licensed as CLASS units (can have caller ID displayed on phone) and 296 are simple analog (can't display caller ID on phone)


I know this is crazy, but your phantoms are in the CNT so 700 Class phones + 11 phantoms + 249 regular analog (minus)- 7 500 sets (which are already in your analog licenses = 953 total 2500 type sets from the count. Clear as Mud? Remember, this Nortel software was written by a bunch of COC's! (Canadians on Crack) I'm sure it made sense to someone at one time....
