TMS AdvCircularProgress1 anyone get to work

I was thinking that this should be setup the same way as a AdvProgress bar, you know set the min and max, and set the position to a basic counter number, but nope everytime i run my program on the form i get the circular progress running around in circles happy as can be when nothing is happening, when i press my button to start my procedure the circular bar stops spinning and does nothing until the program is finished and then it starts up spinning again...

Any suggests?

on thier web it says
"Drop a TAdvCircularProgress on the form and control progress indication with Enabled property.
Progress speed indication can be set with the Interval property.
Set progress with Position property for range Min - Max"

i installed it to have a look.
when you enable it it spins blue, the position value specifies the amount of red
