TMP files in Dreamweaver 3

I have a navigation bar that I imported from Fireworks. I have copied and pasted it onto different pages and each button is linked to the various pages in the site.<br><br>Whenever I check the site in the browser (IE5) it creates a TMP file despite the fact that I have religiously saved all the pages. The navigation bar then doesn't work. When it takes me to the linked page, I get either a row of buttons with red crosses in them, or a &quot;page cannot be located on server&quot; message - even though I am checking on the local drive.<br><br>Is there a reason why the TMP files keep writing? Is there a problem with copying and pasting a nav bar onto different pages? I am getting confused and frustrated. I have also tried the nav bar in frames, tables and using it as a library item - all to no avail.<br><br>Thanks - Steve
