I wanted to have, with a clip in the backround, 3 titles appear at different times. For example, with a video playing in the backround, i wanted the words

My

Name

Is

Sam

to each fly in over top the video. After each flew in, i wanted them to stop. Therefore the final screen would show all the titles t once. How can I accomplish using 4 different tiles over the same clip?

Use several Video tracks with each in it's own video track. It reality they'll be stacked on each other, but they'll be transparent and all will work.
