OK maybe im way off but this seems to be the right place to voice an opinion.
Here goes, microsoft is a completly ruthless company with a total grip on how people use computers. they also have the tools, money and talent to maintain thier mononpoly indefinitely. Here is the catch: microsoft products may not be perfect but they are "good enough" they generally do enough to keep the "regular user" happy. Therefore i will not participate in micosoft bashing but would like to see how long they would stay around if computers no longer could be pre-installed with any software. if you had to purchase your operation system, seperatly would you buy windows, or would you actually look at price/performance before buying? yes microsoft is a good monopoly and like the interstate highways i would like to see a fair price for use.
