tired of microsoft bashing

OK maybe im way off but this seems to be the right place to voice an opinion.
Here goes, microsoft is a completly ruthless company with a total grip on how people use computers. they also have the tools, money and talent to maintain thier mononpoly indefinitely. Here is the catch: microsoft products may not be perfect but they are "good enough" they generally do enough to keep the "regular user" happy. Therefore i will not participate in micosoft bashing but would like to see how long they would stay around if computers no longer could be pre-installed with any software. if you had to purchase your operation system, seperatly would you buy windows, or would you actually look at price/performance before buying? (lynux is FREE)
yes microsoft is a good monopoly and like the interstate highways i would like to see a fair price for use.

no micorosoft is not like interstate highway those are contorled by the fed strictly no profit their more like stardard oil (they offerd oil at a low price untill the other oil companys went under and the up it went like office hmm) So long and thanks for all the fish.

I will not participate in Micosoft bashing either! Don't get the wrong idea though! I am definitly not a Microsoft lover as I have had friends in San Diego that wrote several programs and went under because Microsoft liked the idea.:-|
I think they hold back inovation because people don't want to give Microsoft the idea! :-s I do like their windows programs (mostly NT(MS OS2)).If they would let the rest of us program for it and quit inovating using our ideas.>:-< Have a nice day :-D
