Hi,
Time service not working due to Event ID 22
"netremoteTOD failed for each primarysource"
Any ideas what the solution for the problem is?

The function used to obtain the time from a network machine is called NetRemoteTOD. This message indicates that we tried each server listed in W32Time.ini but failed each one. This may mean that the network is down, server(s) are down, or maybe the list was specified incorrectly (each server name should have \\ in front of it).

Hope that helps. [auto] MCSE NT4/W2K

Hi,
Thanks for the input! I have copied the timeserv.exe and .dll from a server that the time service works on.
Also I took the same timeserv.ini and still it is not working!?
Both the PDC and the BDC are up and running. Other servers can update their time but not this one?!?!?!
Wierd one huh??

FYI

Solution for the problem:

In a DOS prompt type:

TIMESERV -AUTOMATIC
