I have a vendor who needs access to one of our servers. I setup the access-list to let him in. But now he is complaning that he is getting a timeout error if he lets his session sit for too long.

He's using SSH to connect to an HP-UX server.

It seems like it would be a server setting, but this vendor is always on our server and he'd know if something had changed.

Doesn't the pix build a session to allow access through the firewall? If someone sat idle for too long, wouldn't it tear it down?

Any input would be appreciated.

thanks

Is timeout conn what I'm looking for here? I just set it to 5 minutes to run a test. hopefully this is what I need.
