Hello,

Our server computer recently got the Netski virus and upon disinfection we lost all our server connections we had set up on sql server. I managed to get all of them back xcept one that every time I try to connect i get the error timeout expired.
My connection username/password is correct as I connect to the server from my home computer.
Ive made sure it using TCP/IP protocols and my isp has hinted that it could be a zonealarm issue that we do have. Does anyone know what to look for with zone alarm. Also it might not be zone alarm as I can connect to the other sql databases that we manage without any issue.

Does anyone have anhy ideas?

Thanks!

Can you ping from the SQL Server to the SQL Server that you can't get the connection to?

Perhaps Netski changed your hosts file?

Denny
