Hi,
I'm running XP, with premiere pro and capturing thru a generic firewire card from my DV camera. I'm also using a ABIT siluro FX5600 and have the following codecs;
DivX 5.1.1
iccvid.dll
Indeo video 5.10
ir32_32.dll
ir41_32.ax
iyuv_32.dll
Microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec
msh261
msh263
msrle32.dll
msvidc32.dll
msyuv.dll
tsbyuv.dll
VDOnetVDOwave Video Codec
there's also a 'legacy video capture devices' haging around too???
anyways... here's my problem.
i can capture fine, playback in the source monitor sort of ok, and playback in WMP completely ok, but.. anything in the timeline and timeline monitor comes up incredibly distorted... the picture is split into blocks which don't form much of an image and are 'brick like' in pattern.
I'm more than abit lost.
when the timeline monitor does this, it sends the source monitor the same, or black.
like i say, the playback is fine and the capture is good, and it does it no matter what it on the timeline, just single no-effect clips.
please help... i'm starting to lose my rag!
