Hi
I know the time can be sync'd using w32time and net time etc. but I can't seem to find much info on changing time zones...
We have each cruise ship as a child domain with 2 DCs on a WAN sat link, so the time zones need changing all the time - someone changes it on the 2 DCs everytime but the PCs are all set to GMT, when the client PCs on the ship sync with the DCs they always pick up the GMT time!! Is there any way to get them to pick up the servers LOCAL time???? Don't want to have to change the time zone on every PC every day!
I've tried putting the AvoidWan... registry setting in a client but it doesn't make a difference since it is already picking up the local DCs time, just not its timezone adjusted time!
Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks
Brendan
