The 2524M Switch supports TimeP and SNTP.
In the Microsoft world, some of the terminology for time protocols use used loosely and inaccurately. If you are certain that your Windows 2000 time service is NTP, and not SNTP or TimeP, then one option you have is to install a freeware SNTP or TimeP server on the Windows 2000 system. If you seach yahoo.com or google.com for "freeware sntp server", you will get many hits.
