Time Query

Stuck on this on (I bet PHV) will know it

I have a table that stores appointments

Name George
Date 27/02/2006
Start 27/02/2006 09:30:00 AM
End 28/02/2006 11:30:00 AM

I am trying to create a query that would "xtab" all of the half hour time slots between the two times so that I can use a continious form to create a gant chart/ form using conditionals. I have a table that stores the 30min intervals aslo

example of the query I am trying to create
09:00am 09:30am 10:00am etc
George 27/02/2006 Free Booked Booked Booked Until 28/02/2006 11:30:00 AM

Harry 27/02/2006 Free Free Freee etc

I only wish to see on day at a time so my form will have 48 small boxes bound to the days 30min intervals...any suggestions??

I have made many gantt reports this is simple as all the records can be view in the detail section and you can muck around with widths left etc but a form present a new challenge as
all of the records need to be view at once thus a continious form can work with conditional formating however I must populate the fields first so that the conditional criteria can be meet

Thankyou for the suggestion ...may some form of drawing is need eg creating boxes on the fly...probably more difficult
