Time problem in BO 5.1.2

Excuse me for my poor english but i am a young french.

I work with bo 5.1.2 and my Access database is on a novell server.
Each time i do a request, it takes a long time (10-15 minutes). It never happened with bo 4.1.8 and when i put the db on my hd, the time is very short.

Somebody can help me ?
