How do I take a datetime datatype (with a time only populated) and add a integer (where the data is already recorded in minutes) and add the two for the new time? Is there a conversion or a function that will help with this?

Try dateadd...

DATEADD(mi, 2, yourtime)

mi or n can be used to indicate the minute interval. Terry
