I have noticed on Windows (NT and above) that if you login at 7:00am, you will get the notification that your password will expire in one day. If you logout and then log back in later that day, then you will be notified that your password has expired and you need to change.

Does anyone know how to change the time that the password will expire? I am currently running 2003 server.

Thanks

Your password expires at the exact time that you set it. I.E. if I set it when I come back from lunch at 1:00 PM it will expire at 1:00 PM 90 days later. If I set it when I 1st log in in the morning at 7:30 AM it will expire at 7:30 AM 90 days later. I just make sure that I reset it while it is still saying it will expire in 1 day.

Cheers.
