Does anyone know how to program a G3r version 9 for time of day routing. What I need to do is route calls to mobile/cellphones via least cost routing trunks on Mondays to Fridays and via our normal carrier's landlines at weekends when the calls are cheapest. For your info all mobile numbers are 07*********. I have been told that I should be looking at time-of-day routing plans but can see no correlation between the plans which are associated with CORs and specific external numbers. Help!!!!

If you look at a COR you will see a line saying Time of Day Chart. You have 8 charts to work with, I would start with TimeOfDay 1 and work to TOD 8. If you do a "ch time 1", on the left you'll see SUN If you want the phones to work on SUNday then put in a start time. To turn them off put in a stop time. Note if it is to be 7/24 leave the 0s and just put in the PGN number. The PGN is the Partition Group Numbers Start with 1. Type "Ch Par 1" See the PGN in the header at the top, Someone with TOD 1 on a Sunday between the working hours will use PGN 1. The Route Index on the left comes from the Dial String. "Ch ars ana xxx" XXX = 1480 or 480 or prefix. Say on a ARS ANA 480 we had it going out route pattern P2, If you type "ch Par 2" From the left you'll see your Route Index of 2 (from P2 in the ars ana 480)and from the top PGN 1 the call will now go out the route number you put in there. Remember the FRL's from the COR still controls the call if it makes it that far. ANY QUESTIONS :)
