I have never set up time of day routing so I appolagize if this is a redundant question.
I have a coverage answer group with a DID that has 2 people in it. I also have a coverage path that will ring a cell phone then to a secondary cell then to VM if noone answers at their desk.
What we'd like to do is after hours send the call directly to the first cell then if they do not answer send it to the second then onto VM.
I have 6.3 Aurora CM.

So you would create one 'cov time-of-day' path and within there you can assign multiple different coverage paths depending on the time of day chart. Then on the station you just assign tx (x of the # you created), instead of a normal coverage path number. 'T' just means time of day.

Thanks for the quick answer.
I think I follow.
Sounds like I am almost there. For M-F 8-5 I would use my existing coverage path. For any other times I would create a new path and use that. Then point my station to the tx (x being the new cov time)

Just to make sure I am reading the cov Time table correct...
There are 7 rows 1 for each day starting at Sun 0:00.
For Sun 0:00 I would enter my new cov path and nothing else correct? It would route to the new path untill Mon 0:00.
on Mon 0:00 I would enter my new path then add act time of 8:00 to point to my old path then add 17:00 to point to the new path. Correct?

To read the table you start by top left (Sunday) and work your way across and then wraparound to Monday etc..

Correct, if you put in a new cov p for Sun 0:00 and nothing else across that line it would basically be in affect until 23:59:59. If this same cov p you create needs to be in affect until Monday at 08:00 you would put that in the Monday row at 0:00 and then add 08:00 under the 2nd act time column for Monday, with the daytime cov p number. Then 17:00 in the 3rd act time column for Monday with the after hours cov p you created. Make sense?
