I have a really weird one for everybody. I have a client with a MICS runnung 7.0 30DEC04 NAT and a Call Pilot 100 running . The system time is advancing itself by 5 at 11:45 everyday. I have rebooted both the MICS and CP, and also changed the passwords to insure that someone internally wasn't changing the time. And the problem has continued.

Any thoughts?

thats a nice trip ...can leave work in 15 minutes - just kidding!!

Can you try and recreate the problem? set the time to 1144 and see if the clock really jumps ...if not - change all admin passwords

Make sure that you are not getting the time from the CO. I know this is a MICS but I had a similar problem with a BCM and it turned out that even though it was not programmed to get the time from the CO it was still doing that. It actually changed the time way off just like yours is doing.

There was another thread about this, and that's what it ended up being. Check under config/system programming to make sure you aren't getting time from the co. Especially in this day and age, your CO switch could be in India. (Not sure what time zone they're in.)

I changed all the admin passwords yesterday, and set the time. Everything was fine untill about 4:30, then the time advanced by 5 hours.

You mentioned that the system could be getting the time from the CO. I am using LS trunks in the system so I am not sure if that could be it. I will check it when I go out there today. I am assuming that would be the Auto Time setting, is that correct?

Thanks

Yep. You also need to be getting CLID on the lines for the time to be sent.

All right, so much for the easy answer. I've never seen a time issue that wasn't auto t/d or power related. Keep us posted, and I'll ask around to see if anyone has ever heard of this.

try turning the auto date and time off in system programming >> feature settings >> autodate and time.
