I am running an 81c on Succesion 3.0. We have been getting this error message pretty continuously since it was installed.

TIM558 11/10/05 13:15:00 965969
OPRDATA: 13:15 11/10/2005 CPU 1

This is all the error message says, which I know isn't helpful.

Thanks for any help with it though.

did you look up tim558? try ld 60 ssck 0, might be a ddb problem..

>err tim558, will give you the error msg, unless it's an 11, if so break out the merl

that single slip shouldn't cause that much of a trouble, rcnt ld 60, and see if it comes back, the trk matches your ddb os that's clean, i'll try to look up that err from my rls 3 merls

I did an RCNT and the SLIP hasn't come back however the TIM558 msg is back. Something I didn't notice before, the error is coming up every 15 minutes exactly.

I think that the TIM558 message that is coming out every 15 minutes is actually your System ID for traffic reports? Someone has set this as your System ID and will be printed every 15 minutes if that is what the PABX is configured for.

To check this from LD2 type in TSID then enter. See what result you get?

Hasago,

That is the system ID, so how do you change it so it doesn't spit it out every 15 min? Thanks alot for the help.

you can turn traffic reports off, or build a term with trf as the user, ld 2 has all the commands for traffic

Check out the report schedule in LD 2. It should look something like below. In the example below the reports are scheduled every hour (second line 1). Compare your settings to these. To turn it off change 1 to 0.

.TSHS 01 01 31 12
00 23 1
1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Normally the System ID is set to 000 and therfore your system would see something like below..
%
% TIM000 08:00 13/10/2005 CPU 0
%
% AUD000
%
% AUD000
%
% AUD000
%
% TIM000 09:00 13/10/2005 CPU 0
%
% AUD000

To change the Sysem ID back to 0000 try LD 2 then SSID 000. See doco's for more information. Hope this helps you.

Thanks that helped alot. I appreciate it everyone.
