Hi all,
when creating a crosstab report in CR, it grows in both directions, it gets both "longer" and "wider". CR knows how to print this kind of report tiled.
But: Now I have a report that cannot be designed as a crosstab, but it is wider than one paper sheet. It has, let's say, 30 columns (the number of columns is fixed, unlike in a crosstab report). Either I use font size 4, or I define a "user-defined" paper size of 100 x 21 cm. Font size 4 is unreadable, user-defined paper size is only supported by some printers, so it is not very reliable.
Both ways are not satisfying.
Isn't there a way in CR to tell the program to have 3 pages horizontally, and the vertical size depends on the rows of data that are retrieved.
If you know Visio or other graphical tools, you know what I mean (even Excel can do that).
CR only knows physical paper sizes. Visio knows "drawing sheets" that can consist of more than one printer sheet.
If you understand my problem and have a solution or work-around, I would be grateful for a tek-tip.
Thanks,
