Hi, This is not the best place for this.... but I am trying to convert a huge tiff 548MB to a PDF.

I opened image up in Picasa and used easy PDF to print it out but only got blank page....

Trying to keep best resolution I can for the map image

I use PDFCreator. It installs and acts like a printer so you can use it just like you would a printer. Just Google for it.

If you're trying to keep the resolution, why change the format?

Will it handle HUGE Tiffs?
It has handled everything I've thrown at it but then again I've never handled that large of a picture before, only very large documents.

Dian does ask a good question, though.

It was a request from another department. The person needs it in pdf... I can take some of the resolution down... 548mb is just insane.

I like CutePDF, or before that I was using PDF995.

I have done AutoCad stuff to PDF's before... but I haven't tried an image of that size.

Still, for the price (both free/shareware) it's worth giving a shot.

What's the image resolution on the the tiff file?????? I tried converting an Excel spreadsheet to a pdf at something like 1200dpi. It worked just fine. However, I tried to do an import into our scanning applications and the program ran out of memory!! (The image was around 350 MB!)

Actually, as long as you have drive space, I don't see why there would be a limit on file size. Should be able to convert any file to a pdf. Or vice versa.
