This is a follow-up post and request for additional help.

We setup a tie line between 2 sites. When we receive an inbound call via local the PRI circuit connected to its each site and transfer the call to the remote site via the tie line, the call goes through. But when we make an outbound call local/long distance call from either site via the PRI lines and then when the call is transferred to the remote site the call will immediately cut-off. What do I have to change to allow transfer of outbound calls to the tie line. Thanks for your advise.

is that tie internal? rcls prompt in the cdb and does the targ on the tie match the tie on the outbound trunk. either one can cause ablock

Thanks for the response.
No targ on the routes.

I have read all of the posts/threads on this site regarding trunk to trunk access problem and no seemed to have resolved the issue when you make an outside call from your local/long distance access trunk and then transfer the call over to the T1 tie trunk, you can complete the transfer. What should be settings on my routes, trunks and the DN to allow such a transfer ?

If you have experienced this problem and were able to resolve this issue, could you please let me know what programming changes that I have to make on my switch. I appreciate all the help that you can provide. Thanks a lot.

Thanks John. After changing the RCLS prompt from EXT to INT on the T1 tie route (DGTP=DTI), I could now transfer external calls over the tie line.

But on the tie trunk with D channel using CDP, route configured as DGTP=PRI, RCLS=INT, I still could not tranfer external calls. Any ideas, please ? Thank you.
