I have a clock displayed in a text box. I need that clock to either tick every second or not, depending on the users' preference. What should I use for a ticking sound? I do not want to use the "Beep" command, because that would be annoying, and also this clock is an alarm clock, and the "Beep" is used for the alarm. TIA for your suggestions.

I believe I have already responded to this with the diatribe in a previous posting / response. To persue the K$$ clock functionallity, you will need to add WAV/AVI capability. Once you 'dedicate' the Beep to a single use, the only next step is to add some type of media player to your app. Then, again, as soon as you DO add the media capability to your app, the "beep" as an alarm become rather smplistic. After all, even the basic sounds supplied by Ms. include an alarmclock ringing, so why wouldn't you just use the already available "REAL THING"?

P.S. thanks for the feedback on the previous post (or not).
