Thunderbird question

I know this probably isn't the right forum, but I have a couple of Thunderbird questions I'm hoping some one can help me with. I need Thunderbird to allow me to set a specific time and/or interval for sending messages (I want to send a large message and then send another one 10 minutes later). I also need it to automatically save attachments to a folder on my desktop. (I found a script for AppleMail that says it will work for TB as well, but so far, no joy.)
I'm using TB 2.0.0.14 on Mac OS 10.4.11.
If anyone has any suggestions for answers or a better place to post this question, either would be appreciated!

I tried mozilla support. I actually found an extension called Send Later, which took care of my first problem. Still working on the attachments problem. Thanks!
