Hi

I am creating a photo gallery for my website and I have a series of thumbnail images. I want to be able to do the below things:

-have it resize to the larger image (not scalable by viewer)
-if the window isn't closed by the viewer then I'd like for the new image they select to use the same window - meaning I don't want 50 windows open. Either auto close the first window and re-open a new one or just use the same window.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I have searched and can't find anything anywhere to do the job. Thank for your time. :)

the simplest way is to add target="windowname" to the URL, the first time this is clicked it will open a new window called "windowname" and the next link clicked (using the same name) will send the image to this named window.

jemminger posted a nice link. I actualy used it yesterday. the only problem I had with it was I had a pop up that auto loaded when my page loaded and I tryed putting the code in after that bit of code and it wouldnt work. I moved it above the code and everything works fine. very good code and it will do exactly what you want.
