I currently have a 256K leased line (KiloStream) and want to upgrade it to 512K (The remote end will not allow me more than that in terms of bandwidth.) It is actually cheaper for me to upgrade to a 1mb link. Is there a way of throttling the connection down to 512K? I currently use HDLC across the connection which I understand pays no attention to the bandwidths specified by the "bandwidth xxK" command.
