This Terminal Is Barred

Ok so this little system I got for a song that I want to train myself on booted right up. It came with several 5410 and 2420 sets. They came up but are saying THIS TERMINAL IS BARRED This system was removed from an office and shipped to me as is.

All the buttons are locked and I can not place a call. How do I UNBARR a set?

Same response as in your other thread... the system is not licensed properly. Licenses are matched to the serial number on SD card. If you were to downgrade software to R5 or so, it would likely work without any licenses.

Where you do get your Avaya stuff from?
Call them and let then check the serial number.
If you need licenses then order them from them and give them the serial number of the dongle.

if you upgraded to a release it is not licensed for then you get that result too and you might have to downgrade again

you can also post the sd card number and we can check if there are any licenses assigned.

You will also need to switch to standard IP Office mode. The 24xx and 54xx sets won't work otherwise. If version 8.0 or higher is on the control unit, you will need an Essential Edition license for that.
