Hi.
Although my provider hosts under a 2000 platform, I doubt this has any direct relation to the problem I have. It's just I can't find a category that addresses my issue. Anyhow, here it is:
I have a 56k connection and in the last couple of months I've noticed my connection quality dive. It sortov' timeouts, as if the connection is dead, then it awakes 20-30 seconds later. Afterwards, I resume surfing for a few minutes then it happens again.
I downloaded a utility called Ping Plotter that graphically measures the milliseconds it takes to hop from one server to the other. Well, it seems whenever I have one of these dead episodes it's always stuck on my first connection (my provider). Is it something on their side? If so, what causes this?
Thanks a bunch,
DanH
