Anyone have an actual list of what kind of phones these use? I have my NORTEL SIP LINES programmed up and running, just trying to get some THIRD PARTY SIP LINES going for testing and I can't seem to find crap about them. I have programmed up a TN but I don't know what phone type I need to register against it.

Any help?

We are missing some information here. What type of "THIRD PARTY SIP LINES" are you trying to turn up? And how are you programming a phone against SIP LINES?

THIRD PARTY SIP LINES is an actual license type. If you do a ld 22 SLT you will see it as a license type. We bought a couple to test with and I am able to program them as SIP3 lines. My only question is what types of phones and then how do I connect a phone to it. CS1000 7.0.

An Avaya/Nortel phone with SIP software can use the "NORTEL SIP LINES" licence when registering to the CS 1000 SIP Line Gateway. Any other phone with SIP software would use the "THIRD PARTY SIP LINES" licence.

Going to and doing a search will identify various 3rd party SIP phones which have been tested for compatability against CS 1000 SIP Line Gateway.

gwebster, that was my assumption too. But I can't get a Cisco to connect or a Port Go phone to connect. In looking online I saw someone said that is was a very selective list, but I can't find the list. They are actually programmed in the switch differently. I have gotten the Nortel SIP to connect and they are programmed as an UXTY of SIPL, where you assign a user name and password. When using the SIP3 UXTY, you can't specify a username, so that has me stumped.

I think I am one of the first ones around doing this, as I don't see anything on the web about it when searching around, and like usual, Avaya has been useless.

Here is a TN that is a Nortel SIP, notice the SIPU (Username) of sip2. There isn't one of those on the above TN printout.
