Third part component suites

I'm currently reviewing infragistics, componentone and janus control suites. My main interest is for the grid control.

Janus
I really like the grid control but the documentation sucks and the forums are less than helpfull. All of the samples make use bound data controls which I don't plan on using.

The other controls(timeline, calendar, buttonbar,etc) in the suite seems solid and look very professional but have a rough learning curve. I really feel the other controls in the suite would be usefull to me in addition to the grid. Maybe my experience is an isolated event?

Infragistics
Controls are very easy to use right of the box but the overall look and feel doesn't seem very professional. Assuming you or your company is going to pay big bucks for this I expect more. Documentation seems to be good


Does anyone have any experience with either of the suites? I would appreciate any comments...good or bad about either or ones I haven't mentioned.

I'm a huge fan of the Component One Flex Grid. All in all a solid piece of work, easy to get arround, and looks nice.

I've used componetone one controls for grids and i love them they make my life alot easier and seem to really make everything look professional and great. I'd say componentone is the best for grids and has the best ease of use. I believe you can get a demo download of their controls off the web.

There's a tool pack from Microsoft for .Net that comes with the C1 suit and license. It's significantly cheaper then buying the suit from C1. I think there was a post about it a few weeks back.
