Hi all,

I've a problem, I'm installing an Exchange 2k server. It's the third exch 2k server on my domain. I made setup.exe /forestprep and domainprep before installing the first exch server about six months ago and then there was no need to remake this operation for the other Exch 2k server. It's right? Or I've to remake /forestprep and /domainprep?

Thanks a lot

your right; forest prep only needs to be run once for your entire organisation (everthing that is sharing the same AD Schema).

domain prep (I think) needs to be run once for each time that exchange is installed in.

hope this helps.

Thank you

I've ran /domainprep before launching setup.exe normally and it's all right!!

Bye!!

/domainprep only needs to be run once per domain with Mail Enabled users. It doesn't hurt to run it everyday if your bored. Dan
