I am still new to Thin Clients. Can anyone tell me how important specs are on these? I was under the impression that they were doing little more then getting a video feed off the Terminal Server. Yet some of the thin clients I've looked at are in the 1Ghz/500MB range. Does this really make much of a difference?

Remmber that you have a variety of OS choices here - XP, CE so a thin client can be effectively used to access web applications or even have applications installed locally.

Moves in the latest version of Citrix with media processing being leveraged on the client device could have some impact on the device. As you look at the specs you will see the difference usually comes down to how sophisticated the os is - ie, compare one of the Wyse blazers to an HP 5710 running XPe and you will see the difference - the 5710 could almost be used as a PC replacement.

Good luck.
