I am having problems with my back up process on my local system. I am currently using back-up exec 8.6 ver 3878. i have seen this problem many times in the news groups and forums, but now ones answer seems to sort the problem out.
the last thing i did before the back up failed was introduce a new folder redirection policy on the server (Application Data).
Here is the log for the system state back up.
