Probably something really simple but I can#'t find anything in the help files on it, and I'm relatively new to this. I'm using The Visual BAsic Editor for Access 2000. Whenever I push the space button to start the next word... it won't work. I try and type in Private Sub but it comes out in red as PrivateSub. Why is this, and how do I sort it out?

Please help. ----------------------------------------

I would first say have your keyboard checked out....there is NO seting anywhere for this type of behavior.....

I'll but pesos to dollars it is hardware (or hardware driver) related! Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. (Albert Einstein)

Bummer. Well it's not the keyboard as space works with everything else, just not Acces VB. Not a huge problem tho. I can type everythinginonebigwordlikethis and then add the spaces in aftwerwards. Wierd. ----------------------------------------

Wait,

So what your saying is you can type and type, and once you hit enter or something, you can go back and use the sapce bar okay???

WOW! That's a completely newonetome! :) Sorry for your troubles....that's gotta bite!

Might suggest removing and reinstalling Access/Office....if you find the time and have the access (no pun intended). But won't promise anything. Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. (Albert Einstein)

Unfortunately it's work PC and don't have the 'Access' to administrative rights. So I can't install stuff. :(
But I can live with it. I have so far. And here I thought I was just being thick and missing something completely and utterly simple. ----------------------------------------
