OK, today has not been a very good day for me... access is making my life A LOT difficult that it was before.

first the #deleted "thing" and now

The search key was not found in any record

as far as i know, this happened because a created a mdb, then i installed jet sp5, and then i used the user level security wizard to protect the db. now if i try to make any change in the database, i get that message.

i cannot change querys, or create new ones... or create databases.

anyone has a solution??? how do i undo sp5????

it seems that sp4 has been removed from MS site... you can only download sp5

So, if you used the security wizard to secure the database you would have to create a username/password pair for yourself. What group permissions or individual permissions did you assign the the username? Since you are the owner of the database objects you should be able to assign any permissions you need.
