the restore failed to recover the requested files(5)

I have tried restore in another server (different position of native file). I have insert file No.Restrictions file in altnames directory but the restore don't work.
I have net backup.
I have veritas netbackup 5.0 MP2.

i've never found need to do any of that. i think what you're after is restoring a file to a different server ?. if so would this help ?? -

Is the image expired?

Is the tape you need to restore from in use?

Try checking

/usr/openv/netbackup/vault/sessions

cd into the vault session name then
cd into the most recent sid# and view the detail.log

It should give you a rundown of the entire vault session

might sound basic but this other server it is one that you have the NBU client on, it is one you could backup?
