The remote procedure call failed & did not execute

I am getting the following error "The remote procedure call failed & did not execute" now and then in my merge replication. I can start synchronizing and the replication work fine. Does anyone have any ideas as to why I could be getting this error and how to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
