The Recycle Bin E:\ is corrupt or invalid...

I recently converted all my drives from FAT32 to NTFS. NOw whenever I attempt to empty my recycle bin I get this error message:

The Recycle Bin on E:\ is corrupt or invalid. Do you want to empty the Recycle Bin for this drive?

(the drive letter varies, but the error message is the same)

Any suggestions as to a cause and solution?

Hello, verbal1.

This is a known ms-confirmed bug. The cause is, as ms put it, that "when the logical drive that is referenced is an NTFS drive and there was an error in a permissions-compare operation." The official fixed is still beta since August 2001. It is a fix on shell32.dll.
