The "Errors Logon" Performance Monitor counter

Hi all,

How is it possible to enable "Errors Logon" counter in Performance monitor? I need to monitor and be alearted to failed logons.

I started Performance monitor, added Errors Logon counter and tried some false logons. It didn't even detect them! I have failed logons auditing enabled, and they are being recorded in the event viewer. But for some reason Performance monitor is not picking them up. Am I doing something wrong here?
